About Me

My Story

At the age of 51, life revealed my true hidden talents and gifts. After 17 successful years in high-end real estate, providing for my son's education, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Rather than giving up, I became one of the first patient in a new trial drug program at Memorial Sloane Kettering.

Over the last 10 years, I have undergone countless rounds of chemotherapy and trial drug infusions, as well as brain surgery and radiation. Through my participation in the program, the drugs were FDA approved, saving thousands of lives.

In 2014, I started over, selling everything and moving into an empty apartment in Harlem. It was there that I discovered my talent for painting. The discipline I had developed during my treatments allowed me to focus on my happy places and create beautiful pieces of art. My work reflects the beauty of nature, which provides the solace, and the peace during difficult times.
